Just over a week on E2 Take 2, and I’m down over half a stone.

Now I’m not a physiology major, so I’m going to have to assume that the oft quoted “you need a 3,500 calorie deficit to lose a pound of fat” is true. So we’d have something like:

Pounds Lost = (Calories Burned – Calories Consumed) / 3,500
Doing the usual jiggery-pokery that becomes:

Calories Consumed = Calories Burned – 3,500 x Pounds Lost
Assume also that I burn about 3,500 calories per day. That may seem a lot, but remember I’m toting Angelina about with me. And remember, too, that my Pounds Lost was 7 over the last week. So for the week we get:
Calories Consumed = 3,500 x 7 – 3,500 x 7
In other words, I ate nothing last week. Now nothing times anything is still nothing. So, by my calculations I can eat 15 times as many chocolate chip pancakes as I did last week, and keep losing weight. I love this diet!
